I try to install a bunch of packages for amd64, after upgrading my cpu. I replaced all the required mirrors, but urpmi cannot find any of the packages i try to get. the list is just updated, and indicates that the packages are therem but I cannot install anything:

example with kernel-source:
Code:
[root@m080d src]# urpmi kernel <tab>
kernel-2.6.12.12mdk kernel-smp-2.6.12.12mdk
kernel-2.6.12.15mdk kernel-smp-2.6.12.15mdk
kernel-BOOT-2.6.12.12mdk kernel-source-2.6
kernel-doc kernel-source-stripped-2.6
kernel-multimedia-2.6.12-12.mm.2mdk kernel-uml
kernel-multimedia-smp-2.6.12-12.mm.2mdk kernel-xen0-2.6.12.12mdk
kernel-multimedia-source kernel-xenU-2.6.12.12mdk
[root@m080d src]# urpmi kernel- <tab>
kernel-2.6.12.12mdk kernel-smp-2.6.12.12mdk
kernel-2.6.12.15mdk kernel-smp-2.6.12.15mdk
kernel-BOOT-2.6.12.12mdk kernel-source-2.6
kernel-doc kernel-source-stripped-2.6
kernel-multimedia-2.6.12-12.mm.2mdk kernel-uml
kernel-multimedia-smp-2.6.12-12.mm.2mdk kernel-xen0-2.6.12.12mdk
kernel-multimedia-source kernel-xenU-2.6.12.12mdk
[root@m080d src]# urpmi kernel-s <tab>
kernel-smp-2.6.12.12mdk kernel-source-2.6
kernel-smp-2.6.12.15mdk kernel-source-stripped-2.6
[root@m080d src]# urpmi kernel-so <tab>
kernel-source-2.6 kernel-source-stripped-2.6
[root@m080d src]# urpmi kernel-source- <tab>
kernel-source-2.6 kernel-source-stripped-2.6
[root@m080d src]# urpmi kernel-source-2.6 <enter>
no package called kernel-source-2.6
anyone know what I need to do?

When I had a problem like this, I had to clean out my upmri tmp directory. I think it is in /var, it got filled up with parts and didn't know what to do.

that didn't help, but I think the problem is related to another problem: I have an AMD64 3700+ CPU, but uname recognizes it as i686 architecture, instead of x86_64.
