I'm not sure just what you are looking for. Here is a link to Mandriva, and it lists their available distros. There is Mandriva One; a live or installable, and Mandriva 2006. I think both are available as DVD images.

I have Mandriva 2006, I think I need the first Powerpack DVD.
When I try to install something like koffice, the installer asks for the Ultimate Linux Desktop DVD disk 1.

You don't need anything special to install Koffice. It should be on the original ISO media. However, I would recommend you set up URPMI. Here is a link to help you do that.

http://www.mandrivausers.org/easyurpmi/index.php

Read the instructions, and do them, you will then have access to a large number of apps.

URPMI is as stated above. Best part is you always get the latest versions (that Mandriva makes available) of each program you install, and access to all security updates as they are made available.

I works now. Before, I inserted the DVD when prompted, and it didn't work. Now it does, and I can install all the packages I want to.
