I can't get Mozilla Thunderbird to run as a user.
It'll run as root no problem.
When I try to open Tbird from Konsole as a user, I don't get any error messages at all, just get dumped back to a prompt.
I'm sure this is a permissions thing, but I'm not exactly sure where to begin as I've never encountered this problem before.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
I have a similar issue. chmod 777 doesn't really help, the file permissions are all changed to read, write, and execut, for all groups, but i still can't run them from the other groups.
JonEberger: Yeah, I'm pretty much where you are. Checked and double checked TBir'ds permissions - got read/write for all groups, but yet it still only runs as root.
Think I'm going to re-install, and maybe the latest version too and see what happens.
