The Best way to upgrade to 10.1
I really want to have mandrake 10.1 so i can get amarok. I have tried installing it on 10.0 to no avail. Does anyone have any advice of the upgrading my nice stable version of 10.0 to 10.0. I'm willing to try anything.

How long will this take and is it any less reliable than an iso install.

Since you probably do not need to install every single item initially, getting the system up and running should be fairly fast.
The packages will not install until they are fully downloaded anyway.
Other distros use a similiar mechanism, wherein everything is pulled down over the net.
If you have a decent internet connection it should not be problematic.

I found that I can install amarok without upgrading. Just using the 10.1 urpmi mirrors :-).
