Should Mandrake 10 be randomly shutting down? *SOLVED*

Hey, long-time listener, first-time caller.
I've never found a particular need to post here before, but here goes...
After years of happiness with Mandrake 9 (well, 7 and 9) I decided to check out the new version, 10.
To make a short story shorter, it keeps shutting down randomly.
Should it do that?
Is that a brand spanking new security feature?
Because it's starting to remind me of Windows 98...
Any help'd be appreciated!
Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!

Ah well, the mysteries of are still unknown to me, but I did solve the problem. I got rid of this piece of monkey trash that dares to call itself Mandrake 10, and installed Fedora Core 2, which I use (as I've said) as a server with great results.
Se' la' Vi'
Life goes on...

I've had endless wird problems with Mandrake 10 ---- including the "Friday - Sunday" shutdown : if I went away for the weekend, I'd come back to a dead box but......(he whispered).......that seems to be over now. I've sort of stopped going away...... I have no idea why it did it but it's stopped now. I'm not sure I did anything.

Thanks for the link, but I'm not running a server with Mandrake...
For that I use Fedora Core 1 (I find it works better, not sure why)

Maybe I'll just go back to 9.2.

I've got disk 4, maybe that'll make a difference, having some of the paid bits...
