Resolution Problem
I just installed Mandriva 2006 over the weekend and everything went well as far as the installation goes. The problem is when linux loads and the screen resolution is extremely large. I have the resolution set for 1280x1024 which my monitor is capable of. Technically, I would need 4 monitors to display all of the desktop at once. See the picture below:

The box with the "x" represents the most that I can see at one time. If I move the mouse it will scroll around the rest of the desktop. I am using a Hyundai 19" L90D+ monitor and I have a Radeon X800 Pro graphics card. The X800 is properly detected by Mandriva but the monitor does not have the drivers listed. It has other Hyundai monitors, but not the L90D+. I am using the "Generic FlatPanel 1280x1024" drivers at the moment. I have tried every possible monitor driver/resolution/color depth setting but the display never changes. Everything still appears really big I don't know if it makes a difference but I am dual booting with Windows XP.
Thanks in advance for all of your help.
