Unhappy Python?

Despite all my time on IRC, it appears I'm going to bite the bullet and try BitTorrent.
But some crazy thing called Python is in my way. I looked on rpm find and they don't have these dependencies for Mandriva 10.
What should I do?

Code:
]# rpm -i BitTorrent-5.0.1-1-Python2.4.noarch.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        python(abi) = 2.4 is needed by BitTorrent-5.0.1-1.noarch
        python-crypto >= 2.0 is needed by BitTorrent-5.0.1-1.noarch
        python-psyco is needed by BitTorrent-5.0.1-1.noarch
        python-twisted >= 2.0 is needed by BitTorrent-5.0.1-1.noarch
        python-zopeinterface is needed by BitTorrent-5.0.1-1.noarch

You could just use a GUI bittorrent client e.g. Ktorrent and Azureus.

Wonderful.
slow BT download speeds are usually caused by your firewall not allowing your peers to initiate conections with you...
