I downloaded Mandrake 9.2 and can’t get it to install. I have changed the bios in my computer so that the cdrom drive loads first, but it will not boot. Can someone help my please. I am a first time user and am not certain what to do.
Sogates,
We need more information than that to be able to help you. Once you downloaded the iso's, did you burn them onto cd's correctly, then you reboot with the first cd in your drive?
More info, please!
J
I cannot speak for Mr. Sogates, but I have a similar problem. I directly burned a "netinst" .iso image.
Again, I don't know about the original poster, but I think my problem has to do with the fact that the CD-ROM is a third-party replacement, but the BIOS doesn't know that since I reformatted. That is only my guess.
