problem with man pages in mandriva one

there seem to be no man pages in the mandriva one package (live install). so i just copied them from a slackware installation. now it works when i open the files with ark. but typing "man less" in console, the output is not formatted correctly:

       less - opposite of more

how can i get rid of those annoying formatting sequences? any help appreciated

Why didn't you install them with urpmi?

- actually i was looking there, but only under "documentation". doing a database-search for "man" gave me the proper results. sorry, my fault! and thanks for pointing me to the right direction!
