pc couldn't turn off automatically after halting linux.

Hi! to all,
I am a I had just installed a dual boot OS Windows XP Pro/Mandrakelinux 10.1 Official in my computer. Everthing seem to be working fine except my pc could not turn off automatically (just like Windows) after I've shut down. The screen is still on even I had waited for quite a while.
Any one having the same problem with me. I really need help to troubleshoot this problem.

Enable acpi and no local apic

(Boot loader)
