nvidia driver install on mandrake 10

have installed the nvidia driver . but need help getting the xf86config file opened so i can edit. how is this done???

Erm,

emacs /etc/X11/xf86config
or
vi /etc/X11/xf86config

You could try nano or pico too.

Have you really been a member of this forum for over two years, and have never had to edit text file from the console? That's incredible!

Not intended as a put down or anything, but yeah that is incredible.

I guess the gui is indeed improving if this is the case.
