mandriva le 2005 dell dimension 9100 display problem

Hello everyone,

I just tried to install Mandriva LE 2005 on a Dell Dimension 9100 and after installation I get an error message on scree that says

1.Analog Input can't display current mode

I have a 1704FPT digital monitor.

I've tried choosing the 1704 digital monitor selection and reducing the
resolution settings but still get same message.

Any help?

Are you able to/Did you test your X configuration during the install before booting into Mandriva for the first time?

All I can think of is make sure the exact specification of your monitor is that which is used by Mandriva - and make sure that your graphics card is the correct one detected, not one near it (unless it is not available for selection).
