I've just installed Mandrake Linux 9.2 on a 1U rackmount server.
I don't want to have to install X-windows because I'm not going to use it on the server (given it will be in a rack and not easily accessible most of the time), so it will just be wasting disk space.
However, the only references I can find to MandrakeUpdate all say start it from the Control Centre from within the X-windows system - is there any way to run MandrakeUpdate without using X-windows?
Thanks,
Alex Brett
