If anyone has gotten this working and can post some tips, please do. I have all 5 CD's of the CE. I saw that there are some nvidia drivers on CD5, but I'm not sure how to use them.

I downloaded the driver from nvidia. From various posts on the web, I gleaned that I needed to do something like run the installer with --extract-all, then replace the pm.h file, then run with --add-this-kernen, and then run it one more time. I edited the xorg.conf and made sure that Load gl and "NvAGP" "3" were there. Finally, it at least seemed to not crash on loading, but I had to run a modprobe nvidia every single boot, and I still couldn't see the nvidia logo at bootup or run any OpenGL stuff.

I just got done reloading Mandrake cleanly again, and I'm ready to try again. Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind - I just saw another thread on this (not sure why it didn't show up in the search) and it worked.

1) I don't know where can i get kernel-source for 2.4.27 - alternative 10.1CE kernel. I use it cause 2.6.8 brought me troubles with networking.
2)while installing drivers, shell messages me about module "rivafb" which is built in the kernel and conflicts with the driver, so don't know what to do with it.

PS - Here is the thread that details how to do it. It is listed for the beta1 version, but worked fine on the CE version as well, and I assume it will on the release, if they haven't already fixed this by then.
