Hi... Last time when i tried to upgrade my kde i screwed up so on this time ill ask from smarter guys. How can i upgrade mandrake10.0 offical kde?

hi, what you need to do is to go in to the mandrake control center and then select software, then updates and then you should be able to select it from there and then it will install it all from there by itself

well... theres no kde3.3 Kde 3.3 is currently only in mdk 10.1 RC1 ... or was it 3.2.3.... Nvm, but i would use kde source or smth...

unfortunately Mandrake is not making kde 3.3 available as .rpm's neither for 10.0 ogr 10.1 at present. To get it you would have to compile it your self. There is a tool available on kde's website called konstruct on

this simplifies building things. It is also a lot of help text on how to do it. I am a novice when it comes to Linux, but I managed to use it and have found out that I needed to install a lot of packages first. And I still have a few problems I haven't been able to tackle. If you are going to o it I could supply some (hard earned) experience.
