linux-secure reboots during bootup

Hello all.

I just did an Mandrake 10.1 install. This is the fourth machine I have installed on and all the others are up and running fine. Anyway, I am setting up a firewall and wanted to run linux-secure from the main splash screen. When I choose linux-secure, it will go to the loading screen and then reboots.

If I choose linux, it will boot up fine.

It is an AMD 500 with 128 megs RAM. I tried URPMI linux-secure2.6 and downloaded the latest version of that and it installed without a hitch.
But that didn't fix the problem.

I am thinking it has something to do with it being an AMD and I need to edit LILO from the googling I did, but I cannot find out anyone that has successfully fixed the problem. Most people are justing editing lilo.conf to boot linux instead of linux-secure. I would like to use linux-secure but need some help please!

thanks.
