gavinbeatty Member Registered: Nov 2003 Posts: 79 Rep:	kio_thumbnail eats user CPU I often have to work in folders where I keep a lot of files (6780 fonts anyone?) and so I decided it was reasonable to turn off font previews (and all others) in konqueror using the KDE 3.2.2 config. I no longer get any previews yet I constantly grind to a halt as a result of up to a hundred instances of kio_thumbnail. Not afraid to edit text or find a way to automatically kill any instances of kio_thumbnail but I really need to get my productivity back online. Thanks.
