kernel 2.6 test-3

Hello to all

I've downloaded new kernel 2.6 test3-mdk rpm and I've installed it.

But when I restart with the new kernel I've some problems: linux doesn't see my second hd beacuse it doesn't support vfat, it doesn't see my two cdroms and it doesn't see my LAN

I had to restart with the old kernel

How can I resolve the problem??

Compile in support for FAT, scsi emulation, and your networking card. You should use a stable kernel (2.4.21), not a pre-release.

Sounds like you recompiled it too, and didnt add vital filesystem modules. What exactly did you do, and what's you exact hardware and software specs?

now I have 2.4.21 (mdk 9.1 original kernel)

I've downloaded kernel-2.6.0-0.test3.1mdk-1-1mdk.i586.rpm and I've only installed it (rpm -ivh)
It did all things (copied new vmlinuz in /boot, added the link in the lilo ecc...ecc.....).

I don't know what to do after the kernel install. You said something about copying vmlinuz etc..?
