Red face kernal panic: no init found


i am using mandrake10.0 with KDE.
i have problem with booting kernal.

shell i explain u clearly?

1)i had only one os windows xp.
2)i desided to load mandrake 10.0. loads well.
3)when i boot windows xp,there was a problem that ntldr missing.
4)so i desided to load windows xp on C drive only.
5)formated only the C drive and loaded windows xp.
6)using linux rescue cd re-install boot loader..
7)windows xp booting well.
8)linux could not boot.

the error was.....


loading ext3.ko module
mounting /proc filesystem
creating device file systems
mounting root file systems
VFS: can't find ext3 filesystem on dev hda7
mount :error 22 mounting ext3 filesystem defaults
well.retrying without the option flags
freeing unused kernal memory :272k freed
Kernal panic :no init found. Try passing init=option to kernal

please help me...what can i do with this...

You've probably blown away the Linux partition.

You need to install XP first, and make sure that it boots up, and THEN perform a new installation of Mandrake.

When you get to the bootloader tell Mandrake to install the boot loader onto the Master Boot Record (MBR)... then also make a boot floppy for yourself.
