KDE4 and KPPP

Is anyone here using KPPP and KDE4?

If so, how'd you get it to work?

Do you perhaps have any issues running this program? Any errors you run into?

Perhaps this guide may help you further, it's a full guide for KPPP, the front-end to pppd.

I appreciate your getting back ... and thanks.

That KPPP front end guide is essentially useless and it's very old. Experience is showing that Mandriva, Suse and Slackware are carrying the same "guide" and it does not apply to KDE4. The KDE site as well, offers essentially no help as they're also carrying the same old copy of the "guide."

I've used KPPP for years with Suse v10.0 and am "walking" right into what I view as the classic signal(s) "modem busy". With Suse v10.0 I know to go to </opt/kde3/bin/kppp> and employ <chmod +s> and it works but not with this Slackware v13.0. This KDE4 and/or Slackware v13.0 is so different - it's almost like starting all over again with Linux.

Any ideas?
