I have a laptop loaded with Mandrake Linux 9.1. I want to install Ubento in the same machine side by side so that I can use either operating system.
Can any one suggest the procedure for this.
Thank you

Well, i'm assuming you used the full hard drive for Mandriva.
Just fire up the ubuntu installer and the partitioner should make it nice easy and painless for you. Just make sure you specify you want to partition manually and resize the partition which Mandriva is on to make room for an Ubuntu partition. You may also want to create a common home directory so your files are accesible in either operating sytem. Let me know if you want directions on how to do that.
