installing gyach....wierd ./configure problem
good morning everyone!
well here i am running mandrake for the first time. I tried slackware for a little bit, but I wanted to spend time using my computer, not configuring it. Anyways....
This is the only problem i have ran into so far:
I downloaded Gyach .9.6 so I could chat it up on yahoo when Im bored. Im having a problem with getting it installed. Here is what I mean:
[root@hotwatermusic gyach-0.9.6]# ./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for style of include used by make... GNU
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
I tried doing a updatedb..nothin. Same problem. Are things organized a bit differently on Mandrake? Just wondering what I need to do to get past this problem Im having.
Thanks for any answers you can give me.
