how to provide ISP password in Evolution?

Hi,

I'm very pleased with my new installation of Mandriva One. The only problem I have is the inability to download emails. I just get 'error'.

I know what it is. When setting up the account I didn't find any way of entering the password that my ISP requires. I'd appreciate some guidance here, please.

have you tried starting Evolution from konsole ..

If you have entered all the correct information when creating a new account in Evolution, then when you check or send email for the first time, it will ask for the password. There is a check box on both the sending and receiving email tabs in Preferences > Mail accounts for remembering the password.

Thank you for replies, fellas. Sorry I didn't respond sooner but I've had a real problem with our septic tanks and drainage field and it took all my time and energy.

All is well now with our toilet facilities and Mandriva.
