i chose linux and resintalled the Spring again.. solved the yahoo issue with Meebo.com ..well i hope Tux hackers will find a way to tame yahooo soon...:P

cant get gyachi to connect.
have tryied installing gyachi from urpmi, packagemanager and from scource.
yes i was deleting the yahoo config file from my home everytime.
i belive the problem is in mandriva to get kopete to work i had to change the yahoo server i was connecting to too cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com i can connect with kopete but not with gyachi or pigin, on another system sitting next to my system with mandriva 2007 on it it can connect without a problem using scs.msg.yahoo.com (only tried with kopete) on that system my system using 2009 spring cant connect with any messenger using scs.msg.yahoo.com.
Im pretty shaw its a mandriva thing not yahoo if yahoo had change something wouldnt windows poeple all so have issues?
Gyachi was working for me with 2009 spring around 3 weeks ago.
Any help would be apreached im at a lose and would like to talk to some of my friends in yahoo chat rooms

On the camera issue asked about above you proberlly need to install the gyachi codec

i had a similar problem and now i can connect with both kopete and pidgin, not with gyachi, and the gyachi guys at the sourceforge site says that the problem is not there's, but has got to do with the upgrade of ssl. now they have said they corrected it in the newer version. 1.2.1. but the latest version available is 1.1.71. well we have to wait for some more time to get that version included in mandriva i think.

The best way to expedite Mandriva's adoption of v 1.2.1 is to post a bug report with Mandriva's bugzilla (or if there is already a bug report, vote for it) providing this information . . .

i compiled gyachi 1.2 latest version.. but still ssl issue is there..

is gyachi ever going to work again or is there another package that can go to yahoo chatrooms with voice and webcam?
I ve formated and reinstalled 10 times cant get gyachi to work with mandriva 2008.1 , 2009 or 2009 spring have decided 2008.1 seams to work best on my computer and most of the packages i like seam to work , I dont want to go back to windows but im about out of ideas .
