Error with database?

I have installed 10.1 and tried to use urpmi to istall several packages. I was able to install some but others I received the following error:

unable to access rpm file [mozilla-1.7.2-11mdk.i586.rpm] (fill in with package in question)
error registering local packages

all i have done is to install 10.1, then update with a mirror site and then try to install a few packages.

is there a way to update the local rpm database

Any assistance will be appreciated

The command you're looking for is 'rpm --rebuilddb'. Not sure if it'll fix your problem, but that's the local update. To update your urpmi info, you need to issue the command 'urpmi.update -a' occasionally.

Exercise caution, though. I'm a newbie, too.
