cant read CD rom

hi guys,
now everything is ok with my installation of linux mandrake 9.1, but i still have one problem, i cant read cdrom, when i enter an audio cd for example and try to open it i will get an error message saying cant enter directory /mnt/cdrom/ , although i entered the console and type mount /mnt/cdrom but it didnt affect this, please anyone who knows what is the problem??????

you can't mount an audio cd... it has no file system...

Yeah, audio CD's are weird. I think instead of trying to read an audio CD, just run 'kscd' and you should be able to PLAY the audio CD.
