hi
lately i cant seem to be able to install any software from the installation cd(1-3) when ever i try to do so, using tuhe GUI rpm manager it just keeps on asking me the installation cd..even after i have inserted the same and clicked ok. i have tried updating the thre cds but it gives the msg "unable to update the medium it will be automstically disabled. Errors: unable to access medium installation cd 1 (cdrom1)this could happen if you mannualy mounted the directory when creting the medium".....................i did nothing of the sort
the three installation cd were already listed in rpm drake after the installation of mandrake.
i tried urpmi and this is what i got
# urpmi fonts-hebrew-elmar-3.3-9mdk

but this prob limited only to kde. i could install stuff alright when i logged in using gnome
whats wrong?
