booting into graphical login

Sorry if this question is worded wrong. I talked my buddy into installing Drake 10.0. I promised him it was easy and it was! Although now when he reboots he enters runlevel 3. I edited inittab and entered runlevel 5 as the default, rebooted and still only get command line login. I #innit 5 and get full graphical. So any pointers. All help appreciated.Thanks i advance.

If Mandrake use boot manager Grub, you can try to add "5" to the end of your kernel parameters

I figured it out, I reedited inittab again, rebooted and it worked.
