Apache 2.0, Mandrake 10, Jboss 3.0 and ajp13

hi

I have done a thread search but nothing quite fitted. I have the above setup. I cant find a binary for Mandrake for ajp13 on the Apache site so assume that I'll have to build one from scratch.

In the jk/native subfolder's BUILDING document it says that I need APXS to pass to the configure script. I dont seem to have this, although I do have mod_so.c, (I found this by running /usr/sbin/httpd2 -l which gave
Compiled in modules:
core.c
prefork.c
http_core.c
mod_so.c
)

How do I get apxs? or is there a better way to build ajp13 for Tomcat 5.0 (mandrake) that doesnt need it? Perhaps someone has a suitable binary for Mandrake? There isnt one on teh Apache page which is specifically for Mandrake, or that it claims will work for Mandrake.

Jboss/Tomcat reports that its supporting ajp on 8009, so I think I just need to fix the Apache end.

any input gratefully received.
thanks

It would appear that APXS is included in the apache-devel rpm's - have you installed these for the version of apache that you are running?

I haven't been able to find an rpm for ajp13 though, so it looks like you may have to build this yourself. If you manage to build it successfully, it may be an idea to build an rpm for it as well if you know how to - I may be asking too much of you though.

Just thought it would be nice to put something back into the community.
