suggestion: one-click thread subscription

When I want to subscribe to a thread, I need to click Thread Tools -> Subscribe to this Thread, and then click on a confirmation. Can we do away with the confirmation?

The "confirmation" page provides you with multiple different options, so getting rid of it isn't really viable.

Doesn't the "Edit Options" in "My LQ" also set the default for this as well as any threads that I start or add a post/comment to?

Happy Christmas to all.

Indeed. With a one-click subscribe-with-defaults option, we would save a total of 210,595 clicks per day, assuming the current number of members and a subscription rate of one thread each per day. I've made the mistake of forgetting to confirm my subscription on several occasions, causing me to search around for the threads.

That's the default for when you reply though. This is for when you subscribe to a thread manually, without replying.
