Spotted "perfect" answers not in faqs.

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=92918

thread started/posted by:ilbecha the post I refer to was posted by: pavgust time/date: 3:24am Sept. 15, 2003.

I didn't double check the syntax, but that type of post is "perfect".
Some posts are more clear, more precise, and more easily understood than those in faqs. (Mine suck.)

A link to suggest that they be reviewed for addition to faq would be really nice. [I didn't check that one--it may have been cut-and paste.]

Also, I've seen links to great stuff I was unable to ever find again. Googling never found them, and I was sure I could find them again with search on the forums. Not.

Well... when I find useful posts here, I use the Bookmarks feature in the user cp and save it there along with some description on what the link is about.

That is really good for you, and I wish I had thought of doing that.
I can be pretty dim sometimes.

But; Frequently asked questions are--well--asked frequently. And they are answered frequently. Sooner or later, someone will articulate an answer so well that it should be used in the FAQ. I use FAQS alot, because I don't remember things I don't do everyday--and the man-pages may not give my memory enough of a "nudge".
