How can I add an image/ attachment file such as screenshot of an error message in the posts of this forum from my own hard disk? Whenever I open "post new thread' , forum rule section says 'you may not post attachment'. How to enable this?
You can't, its disabled for everyone. You can always place a link to a website you might have it posted on though would be another way to show a screenshot or picture.
If it's on your harddrive, you will have to get it onto the net. Have it hosted by some web page. I have had some luck with imagestation.com but it only seems to work with some browsers. So you open an account there, upload the image, come here and place a link to that image.
yeah, pickledbeans is right... and that seems to work better/faster. Instead of saving a "screen shot" as a pic, and going the long route, you can copy what the errors are, and paste them in here. You can quote them with or code them with to make them look neater. Not necessary, just an added bonus for anyone reading your post. Since those are probably going to show up as quotes and codes instead of the bbcode used to make them, check out the BBcode section if you are interested.
