Phew! Thanks, jeremy! I also though i got banned or something but seriously what for then? Usually there is warning before ban or explanation provided why banned..oh well accidents happen to everyone. No harm done.

Not nit-picking or anything but on a forum I'm a moderator on I ban IPs as well as accounts while other mods do one or the other for reasons only known to themselves. The way I read your OP, which was my mistake, was that you thought your own personal IP was banned.
@all: please stop this whole ban notion paranoia thing.
At LQ banning an account is a last resort option. A member has to be warned first and contacted first to try and patch things up. Besides that, for a regular account to get banned (not talking advertising, etc, etc) a procedure must be followed which starts with contacting that member to first try and gauge / reason / fix things. Eventually, when nothing can be mended, LQ may ban a member by (sometimes temporarily) blocking the account. Yes, you read that right: not the IP address but the account. And once an account is locked a note is displayed. That note may even include an invitation to contact me, another moderator or Jeremy because a ban does not automagically mean that member won't be welcome back.
To recap:
0) We don't like banning LQ members. Really. We'd rather keep 'em.
1) A LQ member will know when they've crossed the line.
2) (rare cases aside) there can be no ban without prior warning.
3) When an account gets locked that member will know that will be the case well in advance.
I hope this insight allays any concerns you might have.
Should you wish to know more don't hesitate to contact me or any moderator by email.
Now please go back to whatever it is you were doing and
have fun.

Alright but just in case something like that will happen make sure ban isn't forever and contacting authorities is not disabled otherwise we will never be able to fix accidents(just like this situation) or if someone else will hack into(proxy can also steal data) etc. Better be safe than sorry. Especially since today there are plenty of people who just wait for right moment to ruin others lives completely.
I have the same problem for few days(and now, used web-tunnel service to report here). Sitting behind corporative proxy, so firefox returns me "(110) Connection timed out".
Since I have not direct access to Proxy station, I cannot report here traceroute and ping results. http://www.whatsmyip.org/ reports me is 178 dot 94 dot 147 dot 229 (yes, I am in Eastern Europe)

I have registered and logged in via anonymouse.org.
Via normal browsing from 188.27.16.41 the site doesn't works!
When I search via google, a lot of linuxquestions.org results are shown, it's annoying that the site doesn't load!
Why am I blocked?????
Problem with Eastern Europe has not been completely solved yet?
I can't access 75.126.162.205 from a dozen hosts on different subnets and on two different providers.
Any chance of lifting all the filters for eastern europe? Or are the filters going to be lifted only upon request and only for individual IPs/subnets?
Although this thread is marked as solved, it isn't...
Accessing this site worked for several days, now it's still blocked.
Dear admins, please understand, blocking half of the world isn't a solution to kick several spammers. There are intelligent anti-spam solutions instead of brute blocking.
Since my IP is dynamic, next week I'll be blocked again if you unblock only a single IP address.

We've unblocked many subnets, but some do remain blocked. If you send us the IP or netblock we'll evaluate each one individually and make a decision from there.
