You mean HTML tags? Which particular entry? I just went to the head page of your blog and tags appear to be working. Or rather, what exactly are you trying to show which isn't working?

Well, I'm trying to insert pictures ([img]picture[/img]) in my Blog posts. Also a logo as signature.
It did work with their example link. I also have a few draft blog entries and tried that example above, then hit preview and it did work. There do not appear to be any options to enable/disable BB codes in one's blog. Are you trying to use a file instead of a link? I wonder if that will only work locally and then not for others because they won't have the file.

Well, let's see if it works here.
Yes, but the same code doesn't work in my Blog posts.
Bummer. Well I hope one of the LQ moderators notices your post; if not try a direct message, because in the blog draft, my test did work and I see zero settings related to tags in the options, at least in my checking.
Hey, one final thing which I don't think is your problem.
I just noticed that at the bottom of my page here it shows a box with my posting rules and also a summary saying BB code is On, Smiles are On, IMG code is On, and so forth. I do not however see that summary when editing a blog entry. Under the specific blog entry options I do see checkboxes for "Automatically parse links in text" and "Disable smiles in text", for me the first one is checked and the second one about disabling smiles is not checked. That should be the default, I've never played with that stuff. That's in the Miscellaneous Options section, and it is specific to the blog entry I would be editing.

Traditionally, img was disabled for all areas of LQ. In a few places it made sense to enable them and we've done so. For areas which see less mod coverage such as blogs, we have no plans to enable them.
