garage sale / for sale / wanted section?

Unless I missed it, how about having one on this site? I'm sure there are people who have tons of old hardware that they would like to get rid of.

For example, I'm looking for a lto single tape drive. I bet there has to be someone here who wants to get rid of theirs or knows someone selling one.

I understand that it would probably create a new headache for LQ, as you try to do good and help someone out, there is always some dick trying to rip someone else off.

But there's my suggestion.

Not like a ebay, but just another set of forums to try to offload old equipment and for people who are looking for stuff to congregate. Think of craigslist, but just for computer hardware/software.

With all the other similar resources available on the net, this is not something you'll likely see us add to LQ. Thanks for the feedback.
