Email notifications not getting through for all threads...
I've noticed recently that I don't seem to be getting notified when someone replies to a thread to which I am subscribed. I do get notified about some threads, just not all of them. It's not a major problem for myself because I usually spend an hour or so going through the 'new-posts' section, but if this is happening to others aswell, then people may be missing their much-needed assistance. Just a thought.

Thymox,
I am not showing you as subscribed to any of those threads (although you have posted in them). If you go to those threads and look towards the bottom of the page does it say subscibe to this thread or unsubscribe from this thread?
I had the same thing happening...but it only happened today once. Sorry, I really can't remember what post it was... I think I had some problems with the login... i wrote a reply in the "Your reply", then it asked me to log in, but then after logging in, it told me that no thread was specified. Somehow I got around it, but I didn't get any E-Mails on replies.
Config, you may have a point...not sure though, Jeremy? When I log into LQ I go straight to the New Posts thing, leave it open and open any threads in a new window. If I've been reading a really long thread, then I will quite often get logged out-of LQ, but still have the New Posts thing on the screen...so when I then post a reply I am presented with the login prompt. Would this have any bearing on my subscription to that thread?
PS I can't have cookies set because I'm running IE at Uni they disable all access to the Internet Options thing under ther Tools menu.

If it says Subscribe to this thread, you are not subscribed to the thread. The situation you describe should not effect your subscription to the thread in any way.
