email notification

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that I chose email notification on a new thread I posted yesterday, and didn't get any emails when people responded. It's not a big deal for me, as I never use the feature, but I thought you might want to know.

regards,

You didn't get an email as you have the setting allowing LQ to email you set to No.

Ok, I fixed it. I used it once a while ago and I guess I changed the setting at some point. Totally forget it. Thanks, Jeremy. Sorry about that.

Why would you want that feature? I tried it for some posting site, but when I got about 150 emails from the site, I quickly killed that off. I think is allright for one or two threads, but the other sites i saw had it so it was for all threads you post in Not good.

You will only get an 1 e-mail per thread until you login again. Right now I'm subscribed to about 3750 threads and get up to 30 a day, usually less, and maybe a few more at night when browsing the boards (because you are logged in you get a notification after every post).
