Does turning ABP off whilst not logged in == revenue?

Hi!

Like many of you (I guess) I use various plugins while browsing, Adblock Plus and Privacy Badger to name a few.

Since I am indeed a member of this fine community, I do not see any ads here whilst logged in, but I wonder if it would help (financially) if I allowed ads on linuxquestions.org whilst not logged in? I have no problems disabling ABP if that is the case. Hell, I might even click some of the ads.

The reason I ask is because I know nothing about how these business models work.

Best regards,
HMW

Browsing as a guest with your ad blocker turned off could have a positive impact on LQ's revenue, but I'd encourage you to only click on ads that you're genuinely interested in. As you note, browsing LQ while logged in will result in your seeing zero ads.

Ok. Then I will do that from time to time.

Thanks for the reply!
