I generally find this to be a very polite forum. Shame the OP been led to believe there is something going on against him/her.
I totally agree that the rest of the members need to remain helpful and refuse to enter into childish behavior even if prodded.
Not sure I'd think posts are closed too much. The one's I have seen were obvious issues that should have been closed.
