based on tags?

There was an interesting article recently on web sites using tags to organise their content; (among them http://flickr.com ):
http://www.guardian.co.uk/online/sto...403974,00.html

I realise this would be an enormous rehaul, but it would be really useful to do this in lq.org - that way, someone could post about setting up an IRC server on Mac OS X and have it appear under both "Networking" and "Other *nix". It would resolve some of the current problems with double-posting: instead of posting again, people could just add another tag.

Regards,

Samsara

Most of the "tag" implementations I have seen focuses on aggregating data from blogs. You'll notice that both my blog and LQ Radio for instance use tags. We don't currently have any plans to use them here at LQ, but if thier use changes as they mature it's certainly something we'll look into. Thanks for the suggestion.
