Hi, I was forced to analyse a ridiculously large number of images for google, for free, in order to be able to register.
Can you confirm that you actually get paid for this? (I hope you do because then at least you get income to pay overheads).
But the sheer volume of images I was presented with was pretty ridiculous.

The captcha only applies to a very small number of registrations and should only involve a single image. That said, to be very clear, we are not remunerated in any way, shape, or form. It's implemented as a measure to cut down on spam (and is quite effective in that regard).
i had the experience that i have to analyze more images if i use tor browser, or generally because i'm blocking so many google services.
this is not particular to LQ, i really think they do that; some sort of sliding scale of how trustworthy you are (in google's eyes) based on how you connect to the internet and how many google services can contact you.
