Adding posting date/time information with a thread

Can the posting date/time be added with a thread?
I do click a thread to see the time and date of posting a thread.

If no one has replied it's already shown.
Is it too much to ask that you open a thread to find out about it ?

FWIW, you do have the "Last Post" column that shows the date and time of the last post made in the thread, as well as the number of posts and number of views columns... are they not helpful enough in determining thread activity?
