I recently set up 2 RH8 servers to do High Availability failover for samba and nfs and this looks like the apropriate place to brag about it for a second.
This was f@$#ing awesome to work on
specs:
dagon:
2.4 GHz P4
1GB RAM
1 60GB IDE - system
4 120 GB IDE RAID 5 (3 disks + 1 hot spare=228GB useable space)
kerebos:
2.0 GHz P4
512MB RAM
1 60GB IDE - system
4 120 GB IDE RAID 5 (3 disks + 1 hot spare=228GB useable space)
The servers listen on a crossover cable and if it detects a communication problem, the other one will take over. Virtually seamless across the network with a total downtime of about 10 sec.

The coolest thing about this was that it was all done by me, alone at 2AM (took about 4 hrs to set up) for FREE!! (- *minus the cost of the hardware)
