Surprised I wasn't Registered
Hi,
I've been using Wingfin for, like, 20 years now...
Got started with Debian2 back in the late 90's, then DamSmall, then Ubuntu, Mythbuntu, PuppyLinux, Mint, and back to Debian because of its good performance and, still, excellent support.
Was heavy into ArcInfo GIS back at the 90's, but now, wow! The Open Sources resources are fantastic to make use.
Linux is a dream come true for all you inquisitive learning minds who aren't diverted into the gaming side of zombiizm. Get a big flat screen and an old wired-in laptop(avoiding prolonged wifi) and you can make an interesting( if not exciting) learning tool... where some others may only see just a keyboard and flatscreen... but for the enthusiast, this "hummming love" you toil upon may be some future AI's primordial pool.
Now, I'm here cause I had a question.....
