Stupid linux guy joining the forum

I've been getting around linux for quite a long time in a limited aspect to get my job done with PHP, MySQL and Perl programming.

Now, I'm on the way to bring up a cluster with Xen virtualization.

I'm interested in virtualization using Dynamips, VMWare, Virtual PC, VirtualBox and have been using them for a while.

I'm now using Asus M9J laptop, comprise of 'nvidia' device, TSL632D DVD drive. Those devices bring quite a big trouble for me. I've got to fix the DVD issue by going back to Windows and upgrade the firmware then switch back to Debian again. The problem that still remain is hibernate problem with nvidia module and an issue that my favorite nvidia driver cannot work with Xen kernel.

I'm just sharing my experience, not requesting any help in this thread.

Nice to meet you all here.

Regards,

Rujipars
