Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Glad to hear you 'found' Linux again! In your calculation you should include also some percentage for study and Googling before practice comes knocking at the door. Also in my personal opinion luck has very little to do with it

Best of luck and enjoy Linux.

Kind regards,

Eric

Yup, you guys are right, there's no luck with Linux. It's all the searching on the www that takes most of my time but luck comes into play when your first "Googling" attempt gives you back the answer you were looking for on the first trials. But I must admit, all this searching makes you understand more and more things on the power on Linux.

Searching is the most efficient "informal" way of learning the tool you have in your hands.

Thanks for your encouragements guys !
