New Linux Fan

Hi!

I'm new to Linux. I just saw it on my friend's computer yesterday and I was really impressed. Immediately I made comparisons between windows and linux.

I've also seen the Linux Tutorials link on this page. If there is anything else that will make me up and running with Linux I'll appreciate your suggestions.

Welcome to LQ
I would suggest to download some live CD's, to get the feeling of linux
Later you can install linux as dual boot with windows, and who knows remove windows.
