My pathetic attempt to win the free gift.
Simon here from Manchester. Ubuntu user for the last 5 years, old Unix hacker from the 80's. Actually, I've been a member here for quite a long time, under a different user name, but I've finally decided to come out from hiding under a cloak of anonymity. The simplest way I could find of changing my user-name was to create a new account. Of course, the drawback is, you lose any reputation or credits for previous activities, but I didn't have any anyway!
