I am new to Linux. Upon moving from the US to the UK, my wife and I bought a laptop so she could use it for school (the main reason we came here), but it was pre-loaded with Windows Vista. I'm sick of it, so I've been researching Linux, and I think it's the way to go. I'll be installing Fedora on an external USB hard drive (my wife wants to stick with Windows, for some reason) in a couple of days. I expect, as I learn to use this new OS, I will probably be back here a few times asking for help.
