Hello to fellow linux users

I have been using linux for quite a few years now, but this is my first time posting on this or any other forum. I started out with Slackware 3.5 on a Intel 486 33 MHz , then version 8.0 on a Pentium 200 MHz and presently am using version 12.0 on a dual PIII 1.0 GHz machine.

I am still learning the fine points of linux as many users do. There is always so much more to learn and experiment with. I look forward to reading and posting to this forum.

Cool

Hi. I too use Slackware but quite litle time. It is about a month. Before this time I used W2K on laptop and from W2K through Vista at home desktop. When I "have learned" English I decided to learn and use Linux. And because of it I am here. And it is my first forum in my life. First experience is quite no bad. Particularly when I read thread: "Hello my name emma but you may call me emma" or something like this. Good luck.
